First 6 Months – A milestone update

Now for a break from your regularly-scheduled programming… Here are some updates pertaining to myself and the site:

Online written consultations for $5

One customer had this to say about my supplement stack consultation service over at Fiverr:

Delivered bang on time and far more detailed than I ever expected. Well thought out with a lot of consideration given to the extra details he’d requested. The man knows his stuff and is willing to put the work in to ensure the best supplement recommendations are made.

For a measly $5 USD, you get a written consultation by me in a digital, printable PDF format as well as a list of recommended and optional supplements that may help you achieve your goal or correct a long-standing issue in your mind or body. No need to scour the Internet, Examine.com or the archives! I’ll pull it from my brain or do the research for you. I make no recommendations for obscure, expensive products. If you can’t get it at your local vitamin shop, I probably won’t recommend it.

Did you know about my second blog?

http://pillscout.wordpress.com is where I write about things that do not necessarily pertain to supplements. More political, more lifehacks, more offbeat. My posts here are sporadic but worth keeping an eye on, in my opinion.

Happy half-birthday!

This site you’re reading? It’s been around for nearly six months. For me, it’s a startling realization. When you keep your nose to the details, you lose track of time. My main challenge was to just post at least once a week as Matt F. mentioned in his Confessions of an Online Hustler book.

I think between six months and a year, and it shows that a blog or site is meant to be around for a long while, and this has been my intention all along. I always wanted to write about something I was interested in, and it happened to be in supplements and vitamins in a way that was highly pragmatic for me and hopefully to others. The site so far winds up paying for itself thanks to the affiliate referrals, so it’s a self-sustaining endeavor at the moment.

I’ve made over 40 posts chronicling bits of information on supplements and nutrients both old and new to me. On its face this site might not be outwardly “manospherian”, but I assure you that on my end that it is a product as a student of some of the ‘sphere’s best and brightest. It’s born of a labor of love, exploration and just for the sheer fuck of it. I’ve taken a lot from the community and I figured it was high time that I paid it forward somehow.

As for the future of this site, I have a couple of half-finished e-books, neither of which are supplement-related. Something will come to me out of the blue as it usually does.

After I feel my adrenal health is back on track, I will venture back into nootropics.

Many thanks to…

You, the reader, for taking the initiative to better yourself through nutrition

VivaLaManosphere for granting me the bulk of my all-time readership among other respectable writers in the community (seriously, thank you!)

Matt Forney for repping my site all the time on Twitter and his new aggregator The Electric Camel

Victor Pride over at Bold and Determined for showing me the ropes on kicking ass 25/7

Robert over at 30 Days to X for all the r/t’s, off-hand mentions and the good slice-of-life posts and practical tips he writes

Peter Phoenix over at Manosphere Radio for the podcast interview and for believing in the Pill Scout method

Regular and semi-regular commenters YouSoWould, TempestTCup, and anyone else I may have forgotten for their insightful thoughts and candid remarks about my posts over the last few months (really, it’s nice to have the feedback)

Also, many thanks to the manosphere at large. It’s great for so many of us to have this solid foundation amidst shaky ground. Just remember to ignore the bullshit and go for the gems. Carefully choose who goes into your RSS reader, subscribe to blogs you like and write comments or blog posts, or just put everything into practice in your own life — sometimes blogging is for the birds. Ultimately there is no need to ruminate on an idyllic past and lament its loss when we can still create the future right now.

Thanks for reading, and be back in a couple of days for a legitimate Pill Scout post.
